A leading engineering firm in Subang Jaya is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee Solar PV projects. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with work method statements and safety precautions, monitoring site progress, and liaising with clients and related departments. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, relevant certifications, and 1-3 years of experience in site supervision. This position requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
Ensure works carried out by subcon is in accordance to work method statement.
Ensure site safety precautions are carried out as per HIRARC (Hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control)
Monitor site progress and update work schedule.
Update client on work progress and handle enquiries related to work progress from client.
Work with project engineer to prepare work method statement and HIRARC & delivery of project.
Manage delivery of material to site.
Liaise with related departments (QA/QC, Safety) on site visits for respective inspection works.
Ensure all materials received are in accordance to bill of materials (BOM), and that they are received in good physical and working condition.
Other works related to Site supervision works.
Perform any other function that maybe assigned by the Management.
Preferable Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent for Site Supervisor position and Certificate in Engineering or equivalent.
Preferably with PW4 Wireman certificate and A4 Chargeman certificate.
Preferrable 1-3 years of working experience in site supervision / project management of Solar PV projects.
Knowledge of electrical systems, AC & DC.
Strong drive to ensure installations & technical duties are performed with high precision.
Experience & understanding of Health, Safety and Occupational (HSO) will be added advantage.
Must be able & willing to work on Public Holiday in completing required tasks.
