The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in construction management and has strong technical skills to solve site issues. This role also involves preparing daily reports and attending site meetings to ensure quality project execution.

Job description

Responsibilities

Monitor and supervise roll-on-site works and any other construction-related activities.

To coordinate and liaise effectively with clients / consultants and main contractors on construction activities.

To ensure delivered construction materials are of specified requirements.

Prepare daily site reports, take site progress pictures, check and take site measurements.

Minimize material and manpower wastage.

Attend weekly site meeting and site inspection with client, consultant and main contractor to sign off on handover.

Requirements

Diploma /Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction science, civil engineering, or related field is preferred.

Strong technical knowledge and capability to solve technical and site issues.

Check daily attendance of workers for late arrival, absence, false claim, etc.

Attend site meetings with site agent & sub-contractors.

Must be willing to work on project site.

Required Skill : AutoCAD, Microsoft Office

Good leadership and teamwork skills, since he/she must provide guidance to contractors, subcontractors, and teams of workers.

Proficient in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia language.

Effective verbal and written communication skills that enable a construction site agent to convey information effectively to contractors, clients, architects, and engineers.
