Job summary

A construction firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to implement and monitor the Safety & Health Plan, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in construction safety, strong knowledge of safety regulations, and excellent communication skills. The role requires full-time onsite work and may involve overtime.

Qualifications

  • Valid Yellow Book – mandatory.
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in construction safety supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, FMA, and other relevant regulations.

Implement and monitor the site Safety & Health Plan in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA), and all DOSH requirements.

Conduct daily site inspections, hazard assessments, and safety briefings/toolbox meetings.

Enforce safety rules and regulations for all workers and subcontractors.

Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near misses with recommendations for corrective action.

Maintain accurate records, including safety reports and documentation for audits.

Liaise with the Safety & Health Officer (SHO), Project Manager, consultants, and local authorities to address safety concerns.

Key Responsibilities
