Qualifications

  • Able to accept contract employment on a yearly renewable basis.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and rectify unsafe conditions at the construction site.
  • Correct unsafe practices.
  • Check sub-contractors' work for compliance with regulations.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements in safety procedures.
  • Monitor safety performance of the project.
  • Develop suitable risk assessments for operations.
  • Document and report all accidents and near misses.
  • Produce weekly safety reports.
  • Ensure sufficient PPE is available and used.

Requirement
  • Diploma or Degree in Health & Safety or relevant qualifications.
  • Registered with DOSH with valid Yellow Book.
  • Good writing and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Able to accept contract employment (Yearly renewable basis)
  • Work location at Johor Bahru
Responsibility
  • Inspect and rectifying any unsafe conditions at the construction site.
  • Correcting any unsafe practices.
  • Check of sub-contractors' work to ensure compliance with the Act and the Regulations.
  • Ability to evaluate and recommend improvements in safety and health methods, practices and procedures.
  • Monitor safety performance of the project and ensure company procedures and regulatory requirements are met and exceeded.
  • Ensure that suitable risk assessments are developed for all operations.
  • Ensure that all accidents and near misses are documented and reported accordingly.
  • Produce safety report (weekly) as required by the Management.
  • Ensure that sufficient PPE is available and used as necessary.
