This role involves executing, planning, and monitoring electrical works to ensure compliance with all specifications and safety standards. Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with at least 2 years of related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD is essential. This position requires strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise site works to ensure compliance with technical and safety requirements.
• Manage and evaluate performance of subcontractors, suppliers, and machinery.
• Take immediate action on any issues affecting project progress.
• Maintain all site reports and project documentation in order.
• Support overall project management activities and documentation control.

SITE ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL) – TNB GRID PROJECTS

We are seeking highly dedicated and responsible Site Engineers (Electrical) to join our team for the execution of TNB substation projects across Malaysia. Successful candidates will be directly involved in planning, coordinating, supervising, and monitoring the electrical works, including substation switchyards and buildings, to ensure timely delivery and adherence to all specifications, drawings, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute, plan, and monitor electrical works progress for TNB substation projects.
• Assist Project Managers/Consultants in project implementation and timeline control.
• Supervise site works to ensure compliance with technical and safety requirements.
• Manage and evaluate performance of subcontractors, suppliers, and machinery.
• Take immediate action on any issues affecting project progress.
• Maintain all site reports and project documentation in proper order at all times.
• Support overall project management activities and documentation control.

Job Requirements

• Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering (local university) or Higher National Diploma from a local polytechnic (or equivalent).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in related field. Candidates with more than 2 years overall working experience will be highly considered.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.
• Languages: Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Location: Willing to be stationed at project sites in North/Central/Southern Malaysia.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team-oriented attitude.
• Advantage: Prior experience as a Site Engineer in TNB substation projects.
• Preference: Candidates who are available to start immediately.
