Job summary

A leading resort company in Selangor is seeking a Site Engineer to oversee the daily supervision of contractors, ensuring compliance with construction specifications and quality standards. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the construction industry, particularly in mixed development and high-rise projects. Responsibilities include maintaining daily records and addressing defect complaints, with a strong emphasis on quality control and problem-solving. Willingness to work in Klang Valley is required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of working experience in the construction industry is required.
• Experience in mixed development, high-rise residential, and commercial retail projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily supervision of contractors and subcontractors to ensure project completion.
• Inspect site works to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain daily records of construction activities and report issues to management.
• Handle defect complaints from purchasers and coordinate with contractors for rectification.

Site Engineer (Civil Structure / Mechanical & Electrical)

Amverton Cove Golf & Island Resort – Petaling

Assist daily supervision if the contractors ans subcontractors to ensure completion of works as per schedule and in accordance with the specification and drawings.

Ensure work carried out and material delivered to site are according to drawings specification procedures and instruction.

To read and check all construction drawings, specifications and method statement, report for any discrepancies detected.

Carry out C&S / M&E inspection on site to ensure compliance to the construction specifications, legislation, project timeline and quality standard expected.

Witness testing and commissioning of all M&E work done.

To keep record daily all construction activities at site and report to superior of any problem.

To check and ensure the quality / workmanship for all works within acceptable tolerance practice.

To joint site evaluation on contractor's work done

To handle defect complaints by purchasers after vacant possession and coordinate with contractors to rectify defect and handover in good.

To perform any other tasks as assigned by management.

Experienced in mix development, high rise residential and commercial retail.

Applicant must be willing to work in Klang Valley.

At least 3 years of working experience in the construction industry is required for this position.
