Job description
Qualifications
  1. Possesses at least one year of experience in the operation and maintenance of water systems in the electronics, semiconductor, or related industries.
  2. Possesses basic documentation skills and can understand water system documents and drawings. Has a strong interest in water system operation and maintenance work.
  3. Priority will be given to candidates with experience in pure wastewater projects within the electronics, semiconductor, panel, and solar photovoltaic industries. Proficiency in conventional water treatment processes and equipment, as well as familiarity with the commissioning and operation of pure wastewater systems, is required.
  4. Familiarity with standard water treatment processes and principles in the semiconductor industry, knowledge of commonly used equipment and instruments for water systems, and experience in operating water systems in this industry is preferred.
  5. Ability to promptly identify the causes of issues that arise during the operation of the water system and provide solutions; for problems that cannot be resolved, ability to resolve them through established processes.
  6. Good physical health and strong physical stamina; capable of performing manual tasks effectively and independently in the operation and maintenance of water treatment systems.
Responsibilities
  1. Under the guidance of department managers, operations supervisors, and operations engineers, complete the operation, maintenance, and upkeep tasks for the regions/projects served.
  2. Be familiar with the water system’s processes, principles, and daily work tasks. Actively respond to requests from property engineers regarding maintenance and operations, thereby continuously improving customer satisfaction.
  3. Responsible for conducting routine inspections and checks of the water systems being serviced. Actively complete daily on-site inspections, and promptly report the system’s operational status and any issues encountered to the owner’s engineer.
  4. Maintenance and upkeep of on-site equipment, handling system failures and equipment malfunctions during system operation, and responsible for routine cleaning tasks.
  5. Work with the operations and maintenance engineers to conduct systematic inspections and assessments of the water system, and be responsible for recording data from the system inspection checklists and documenting any issues or faults that arise.
  6. Responsible for cleaning, calibrating, and maintaining the probes used in the water treatment system on-site.
  7. Responsible for routine maintenance tasks, such as replacing pressure gauges, valves, and gaskets.
  8. Responsible for promptly reporting any leaks, spills, or other issues discovered during routine inspections to the property owner’s engineer and taking prompt action to address them.
