Job summary

A local development company in Johor Bahru is looking for a Site Clerk to support daily site operations.   • Assist in preparing material requisition forms.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors and subcontractors.
  • Provide support during site meetings.
  • Manage site office supplies and upkeep.

Job Summary

The Site Clerk supports daily site operations through accurate documentation, material record-keeping, coordination with subcontractors and suppliers, and preparation of reports. The role manages filing, tracks attendance, assists with QA/QC submissions, and maintains the site office to ensure smooth workflow for the project team.

Key Requirements
  • Possesses a minimum Diploma in related discipline or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in a related field is preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Able to work independently and adapt to the project site environment.
  • Possess own transport.
Job Responsibilities
  1. Handle daily site documents including delivery orders, invoices, material records, attendance and progress reports.
  2. Prepare and submit Daily Site Reports (DSR), manpower reports, and work progress updates.
  3. Maintain organized filing for correspondence, drawings, emails, contracts, plans, reports, and all project forms.
  4. Record all incoming and outgoing materials, verify DO against PO, and update material stock levels.
  5. Assist in preparing material requisition forms and liaise with HQ or purchasing department.
  6. Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers on attendance, progress, and delivery schedules.
  7. Assist in preparing back charges, variation orders, RFI, NCR, QA/QC forms, and other site-related documents.
  8. Provide support during site meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, and documentation.
  9. Record workers’ and subcontractors’ daily attendance and assist in preparing monthly timesheets.
  10. Manage site office supplies, printing, stationery, and general office upkeep.
  11. Receive visitors, inspectors, and consultants, and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
  12. Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the project team or management.
