Job summary

A leading shipping company in Subang Jaya is looking for a Marketing and Sales Executive to contribute to operational objectives. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping operations, preferably in chartering and projects. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and managerial skills, as well as proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin. Job description

Achieves marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews

Meets marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements

Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

Manage customer interactions including fostering relationships, making customer calls and closing deals

Participate in face‑to‑face client meetings independently. Partnering with other sales personnel may occur at times, depending on the complexity of customer demands.

Visit customers and potential clients.

Utilize Opportunity Management system to organize, update and keep records of customer information

Have continuous engagement with customers to maintain close relationships and ensure ongoing success with accounts

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of shipping operations experience in the same capacity (Ability to handle RORO / Conventional / and also Breakbulk vessels for all our representing lines / agencies)
• Experience in chartering + projects / conventional shipments
• With or without working experience. Training provided.
• Candidate must possess at least Higher Secondary/STPM/'A' Level/Pre‑U, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Marine) or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin, (We seek Mandarin‑speaking candidates who are required to serve Mandarin‑speaking clients)
• Possess strong leadership, analytical and management skills
• Self‑disciplined, sales oriented with good interpersonal skills
