A leading manufacturer is seeking an experienced Shipping Officer in Seremban. The role requires managing LMW licenses, importing and exporting shipments, and preparing budget plans. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in Shipping and Customs, with a strong preference for candidates from manufacturing backgrounds. English language skills are essential. What you need to do:
Keeping necessary License in order
To manage and keep track of the Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (L.M.W) License’s expiration date and Bon Am
Candidate must know all theLMW custom exemption application process
Well knowledge of the LMWimport & export process(eg: cbm calculation, Atiga application & cost analysis, COO application & etc)
To supervise application for any changes of building structure to the Royal Custom
To supervise monitoring submission of the Monthly Custom Report
To coordinate renewal Certificate of Origin (CO) FMM
To coordinate renewal of MITI form D membership
Import – By Sea / Air
To supervise incoming import shipments that arrive at Port Klang, KLIA, and by courier service
To supervise if there is a problem with invoicing, BL, or Exemption
Export
To manage monitoring shipment and stock movement by Transfer schedule and system
To coordinate customer requests to the Quality Assurance Department and Engineering Research Department
Planning
To prepare a plan for yearly group budget expenses twice a year
To prepare for the staff's skill maps and group target activities
To prepare a plan for the cost management review - cost reduction
Perform yearly Audits for forwarders and visit customers for discussion if necessary
Claim Damage / Cargo Discrepancies
To handle claims towards Marine insurance if there is any discrepancy accident happen
What we need from you:
Minimum 3 years' experience in Shipping & Customs.
English language skills are required.
Prefer candidates working at the manufacturing shipping sectioninstead of a logistics company.
