Job summary

A manufacturing company in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia, seeks an engineering technician to support daily production and operations, ensure system readiness, and resolve equipment malfunctions. Qualifications

• Possess own transportation and willing to work on 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Able to support ad-hoc issues during odd hours and weekends.
• Working experience in the manufacturing industry preferred, but fresh graduates may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production and operations by ensuring system readiness.
• Utilize control systems, meters, and software to monitor performance.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve equipment malfunctions.
• Ensure machines are in good working condition and make repairs as necessary.
• Be responsible for daily chemical makeup activities as per schedule.
• Perform SMT Line conversion and carry out re-flow oven profiling.

RESPONSIBILITIES

EQUIPMENT

• To ensure machine are in good working condition.
• To make repair if machine cannot operate.
• To modify machine for quality and productivity.
• Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records

SMT

• Responsible for programming and supporting Production to maximize SMT equipment.
• Develops, reviews and improves work instructions and product documentation.
• Summarizes and generates reports of defect tracking (SPC) and scrap reports to ensure the highest level of productivity.
• Coordinates with Engineers to resolve product quality issues.
• Perform SMT Line conversion and carry out re-flow oven profiling.

CDC

• To be responsible for the daily chemical make up activity as per schedule.
• To be responsible make up reagents is within spec by doing chemical analysis.
• To be responsible sufficient amount of chemical is in standby to support production without any failure.
• To maintain chemical make-up data in softcopy and hardcopy.

REQUIREMENTS

• Cert / Diploma in any engineering discipline.
• Working experience in Manufacturing Industry preferred but fresh graduates may also be considered.
• Possess own transportation & willing to work on 12 hours rotating shift.
• Able to support ad-hoc issues during odd hours & weekends.
