Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, setup, testing, and commissioning of production SMT machines, particularly chip mounters and related equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance (PM), troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of SMT machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide on-site technical support and respond to machine downtime issues in a timely manner.
• Work closely with customers to ensure smooth production support, machine recovery, and process stability.
• Prepare and maintain service reports, documentation, and machine checklists.
• Coordinate with internal service team, sales, and management teams on technical matters and customer requirements.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to customers on machine operation, PM procedures, and best practices.
• Support equipment relocation, upgrades, and line setup when required.
• Continuously improve technical skills and stay updated on SMT and Panasonic equipment developments.

Job Requirement

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronics or related fields).
• Experience in handling manufacturing equipment of Surface Mount Technology.
• Possess own transportation.
• Experience handle Panasonic, Fuji ASM or Yamaha mounting equipment will be an added advantage.
