Job description

As a Service Engineer, you will be the front line of our customer experience—delivering hands-on on-site service, installation, and commissioning to ensure our equipment performs at its best. You’ll work closely with the sales team to provide timely, practical solutions, support customer applications, and conduct technical training. Beyond service excellence, you’ll play a key role in growing aftermarket opportunities through service, spare parts, and system upgrades, while building strong, long-term relationships with our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site service, troubleshooting and repair, maintenance and calibration to ensure equipment operates as per manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform installation, set up and commissioning of equipment at customer locations
  • Provide onsite application support for new and existing application.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure the customer’s expectations are met. Address customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Fast respond to service calls and customer complaints. Able to evaluate, understand customer needs and requirements, provide effective solution to resolve problems quickly.
  • Conduct technical training for customers on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Drive aftermarket sales growth through service, spare parts, and system upgrades, fostering long-term customer relationships

For This Role, You Will Need
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in equipment services, with a preference for experience in manufacturing or industrial equipment.
  • Possess a Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart
  • Understand manufacturing equipment and industrial systems.
  • Knowledge in automation system control is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and colleagues at all levels.
  • Being proactive, customer oriented and result driven
  • A team player but able to handle and resolve problem independently with minimum supervision.
  • Must possess a valid driving license and own transport.
  • Willing to travel extensively throughout Malaysia to serve customer needs
