Job description
Kitchen Operations
  • Wash, peel, chop, and portion vegetables and fruits
  • Measure and prepare ingredients per recipe instructions
  • Assist in assembling simple dishes and garnishes
  • Set up workstations with necessary tools and ingredients
Cleaning & Section Readiness
  • Clean kitchen surfaces, utensils, chopping boards, and equipment
  • Wash dishes, pots, and pans manually or using dishwashers
  • Mop floors, empty trash bins, and maintain hygiene standards
  • Ensure section is clean and stocked before/after each shift
  • Participate in daily and weekly cleaning schedules
Basic Cooking & Plating
  • Execute basic cooking tasks (e.g., frying, boiling, toasting)
  • Plate dishes to match visual and quality standards
Storage & Organization
  • Store raw and cooked items properly (label, date, and organize)
  • Unpack and organize food deliveries
  • Monitor and report low stock levels
Food Safety & Hygiene
  • Follow food safety procedures and hygiene regulations
  • Practice proper handwashing and use of gloves
  • Handle kitchen tools and equipment safely
  • Track expiry dates and follow proper storage protocols

Cooperate with kitchen staff and follow instructions promptly

Ask questions and actively learn during prep and service

Help receive and store deliveries

Support other sections during peak hours

Ad Hoc Tasks
  • Assist during catering, events, or special promos
  • Perform any additional duties to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Requirements
