Job summary

A leading tech company in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an experienced IT professional to design and manage server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience, expertise in backup and disaster recovery solutions, and proficiency in public/private cloud technologies. Responsibilities include setting up hyperconverged systems and providing post-implementation support, ensuring high availability and reliability of IT systems. Candidates should possess a degree in IT or a related field and have strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in server infrastructure setup and management.
• Proficiency in backup and disaster recovery solutions, particularly Veeam.
• Strong understanding of public and private cloud technologies.
• Experience with hyperconverged systems like Azure Local and Sangfor HCI.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with team members and clients.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong technical documentation skills.
• A degree in IT, Computing, or its equivalent.
• Good knowledge of networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design, set up, and manage server infrastructure for various environments.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions using technologies like Veeam.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of IT systems during proactive maintenance.
• Work with cloud solutions to deploy and optimise cloud infrastructure.
• Set up and manage hyperconverged systems such as Azure Local and Sangfor HCI.
• Provide post-implementation support to customers.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation for all implemented projects.
• Assist in networking setup and troubleshooting for seamless connectivity.
