Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Trading System Engineer – MetaTrader 4 & MetaTrader 5 with a strong background in high-frequency trading (HFT) environments and deep hands-on experience managing, administering, and optimizing MT4 and MT5 production servers.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with liquidity bridges such as oneZero and PrimeXM, and will play a key role in ensuring platform stability, execution quality, scalability, and risk controls across a high-volume trading infrastructure.

What Will You Do

• Administer, configure, and maintain MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 live and demo environments
• Manage MT4/MT5 components including Trade Servers, Access Servers, History Servers, Backup Servers, and Gateways
• Ensure low-latency, high-availability, and high-throughput trading performance suitable for HFT strategies
• Deploy, manage, and optimize liquidity bridges (oneZero, PrimeXM), including:
• Symbol mapping, A/B bookrouting andLP configuration and failover
• Price feed validation and execution monitoring
• Monitor and optimize trade execution, spreads, slippage, rejects, and order flow behavior
• Implement and maintain risk controls, including exposure limits, margin & leverage configurations
• Trade throttling and protection rules
• Perform incident response, root-cause analysis, and preventative tuning for platform issues
• Work closely with Risk, Dealing, Liquidity, and Development teams
• Manage server performance, Windows services, logs, backups, and disaster recovery
• Support platform upgrades, patches, migrations, and infrastructure scaling
• Ensure system security, access control, and operational best practices

What Makes You A Good Fit

• Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong hands-on experience with MetaTrader 4 & MetaTrader 5 administration
• Proven background in high-frequency or latency-sensitive trading environments
• Solid experience with oneZero and/or PrimeXM bridges
• Deep understanding of Order execution models
• Market depth, pricing feeds, and LP behavior
• Trade lifecycle and MT4/MT5 deal/order structures
• Strong Windows Server administration skills
• Experience with networking concepts (latency, routing, firewalls, VPNs)
• Ability to analyze logs, execution reports, and trading metrics
• Familiarity with automation, monitoring, and alerting tools is a plus
