Duties and Responsibilities

• To carry out breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and improvement projects for all areas inside Hartalega NGC premises (Production lines, QA dept, Warehouse, Compounding).
• To conduct electrical panel isolation, troubleshooting and wiring work.
• To perform LOTO for all isolation work.
• To troubleshoot machines and carry out repair and modification if necessary.
• Ready for on‑call duty after working hours.
• Willing to work on shift.
• To ensure downtime is minimal by performing the job efficiently.
• Always provide feedback to superior regarding any outstanding issues/items.
• To improve overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
• To ensure works/jobs are done with high efficiency and quality.
• To always encourage department teamwork.
• To liaise with other departments/plants for any activities related to multiple department involvement.
• To ensure KPI targets are achieved.
• To ensure activities carried out by solely or jointly with other divisions observe good health and safety standards.
• To ensure all documents are kept properly in compliance with ISO and to keep track of all records (Checklists, commissioning reports, etc.).
• To ensure all works/jobs are standard compliance.
• To rectify complaints from customers (internal or external).
• To carry out any jobs that are given from superiors.
• Always adhere to company rules, policy, and regulations.
• To perform annual maintenance execution work and complete on time.
• To always ensure burners for ovens are always running efficiently.
• To take care of all tooling and properties given to them.
• To attend all training held and customized to them.
• Shall be helping any other plant maintenance if needed or instructed by superior.
• To assist supervisor in up keeping the maintenance checklist.
• To assist supervisor in setting up duty roster.
• To cover for supervisor in case of emergency.
• To conduct skills training to the technician level.
• To perform additional tasks as where and when required that is within the job scope.

Requirements

• Certificate / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in electrical/mechanical related industry.
