Job summary

A machinery services provider in Malaysia is seeking a skilled technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair various types of machinery, including boom lifts and forklifts. The ideal candidate will have a Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and hands-on experience with mobile elevated work platforms. Responsibilities also include recommending solutions and collaborating with the operations team. Candidates should be committed, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing MEWP and construction machinery.
• Good understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems in machinery.
• Possessing a valid driving license is required.

Overview

Responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts. Perform repair and maintenance work both at the workshop and at customer sites. Recommend effective solutions and collaborate with the operations team to resolve technical issues. Carry out any other duties assigned by the Head of Department (HOD) or Manager.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms), construction machinery, or similar equipment.
• Good understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems in machinery.
