A prominent technology company is seeking a Senior Technical Sales Engineer in Malaysia to drive business growth through technical sales of Predictive Maintenance products. The position involves managing the sales cycle, engaging closely with end users, and requires extensive travel across West and East Malaysia. Candidates should have 8–12+ years of experience in technical sales with a technical background in Electrical or Industrial Engineering, along with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
The Senior Technical Sales Engineer (PdM) is responsible for driving business growth in Malaysia through hands-on technical sales, business development, and deal closure for the company’s Predictive Maintenance (PdM) products, systems, and solutions.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role. Scope may evolve based on business needs and individual performance in managing the full sales cycle, including opportunity identification, technical solution selling, tender participation, and contract closure. The role involves close engagement with end users, consultants, main contractors, distributors, and government-linked stakeholders across West and East Malaysia, working in close coordination with Singapore Group Leadership.
Outcome-driven role, evaluated on sales performance and deal closure. Frequent travel across West and East Malaysia is required for site visits, project meetings, tender briefings, and stakeholder engagement. Cross-border coordination with Singapore-based teams is integral to the role.
