Job summary

A healthcare facility in Malaysia is seeking a Registered Nurse to manage neonates' care. This position involves delivering safe care under the guidance of the Nursing Sister/Ward Manager and supervising junior staff nurses. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in nursing, be registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board, and possess at least 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Additionally, certifications in neonatal nursing and resuscitation are required.

Qualifications

Job Scopes

Reports to the Nursing Sister/Ward Manager and is responsible for delivering safe neonates care through effective nursing practice, risk identification and management, ongoing assessment, care planning based on the neonate’s condition, and providing health education to the neonate’s families.

Qualifications

1. Diploma in Nursing
2. Registered with Malaysian Nursing Board
3. Valid APC
4. Possess Post Basic Certificate in Neonatal Nursing or Degree in relevant nursing studies
5. Possess a Neonatal Resuscitation Program or Code Blue Programs Certificate
6. Minimum 3 years working experience as a Registered Nurse
7. Possess relevant practical hands-on knowledge and ability to supervise lead and coach the junior staff nurse
