ENERGY COMPETENCY CENTER (ECC), UNIKL BMI (Batu 8, Jln Sg. Pusu, 53100 Gombak, Selangor)

KEY ROLES :

• Plan and deliver lectures according to syllabus and schedule, through application of teaching and learning methodologies, to achieve the learning outcomes.
• Conduct curriculum development & review to keep pace with latest development in the field, meet industry need and fulfill the MQA & professional bodies rules and regulations.
• Continuously develop student assessment & marking scheme to assess the understanding of knowledge learned to ensure effective teaching & learning has taken place.
• Provide counselling and advice of students on academic issues as well as career guidance to support the aspirations of the university to produce marketable graduates that meet industry needs. Uninterrupted learning experience.
• Involvement in developed and conduct short courses to generated income for university.
• Provide consultancy services in areas of expertise to relevant industries and government agencies, including offering solutions to problems and issues, in order to enrich individual competencies and generate revenue for the University.
• Prepare, plan and conduct short courses and training in relevant areas to contribute towards generating revenue for the University.
• Participate in entrepreneur activities by supporting students and staff entrepreneurial programs to support the vision and mission of the University.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Possess a minimum of Master / Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Holds a valid BO 11KV certification.
• Minimum of 5 – 10 years of industry experience, with exposure to teaching and learning activities being an added advantage.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse audiences and students using appropriate teaching methods to support learning.
• Ability to organize, conduct, and supervise student activities effectively.
• Displays a high degree of integrity, maturity, professionalism, and loyalty.
• Possesses an outgoing personality with a creative and innovative mindset.
• Able to work collaboratively within a team environment.
