Job description

Lead and manage the entire testing and quality assurance function, overseeing a team of software testers to ensure comprehensive quality and traceability back to requirements and user stories.

Develop and implement robust testing strategies, plans, and frameworks for new and existing products, with a focus on ensuring a seamless user experience.

Supervise the creation and execution of test plans, business scenarios, and UAT scripts, ensuring testing processes align with project objectives and timelines.

Coordinate and manage daily test activities, including prioritizing tasks, managing resource allocation, and ensuring timely execution of test cases.

Serve as the primary liaison between the testing team, development teams, and key stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and issue resolution.

Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring feedback is integrated into continuous improvement processes.

Monitor, analyze, and report on test execution metrics and statuses on a daily and weekly basis to senior management.

Oversee the defect management process, ensuring defects are accurately logged, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.

Ensure testing processes are continuously optimized, leveraging innovative techniques and tools, including AI-driven solutions, to improve efficiency and data-driven decision-making.

Champion the adoption of AI-assisted automation testing techniques within the team, providing guidance and training to drive improvements in testing accuracy and speed.

Job Requirements:

University degree or diploma with relevant working experience in testing and quality assurance, with managerial responsibilities preferred.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership or managerial role in a software testing environment.

Proven experience in managing and mentoring a team of testers within a software project environment.

Expertise and passion in the e-commerce industry is an added advantage.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results under tight project deadlines.

Excellent planning and organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple testing projects simultaneously.

Demonstrated experience in developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies and plans.

Proficiency in utilizing JIRA or similar issue tracking software for managing testing activities.

Proficient in reading Chinese; excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

AI Integration (Mandatory).

Candidates must have demonstrable experience in or a strong willingness to harness AI tools and techniques to drive testing efficiency, optimize workflows, and improve data analysis.

Additional advantage will be given to candidates with experience in AI-assisted automation testing and process improvement initiatives.
