Senior Software Engineer (C#, .NET) (Melaka)

At Exact Asia Malaysia, we’re part of Exact, a Netherlands-based global tech company delivering cloud‑based solutions to over 675,000 businesses. We are expanding in Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh and now Melaka and building new teams to support global growth.

Job is fully based at Melaka and open to candidates currently residing in Malaysia and authorized to work here.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑quality software solutions using .NET technologies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Continuously adapt and develop new solutions through analytical, interpretative, evaluative, creative, and innovative thinking.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in .NET development.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of OOP and design patterns, including ASP.NET MVC.
• Proficiency in unit testing and performing code reviews.
• Solid understanding of clean code principles and SOLID design principles.
• Strong knowledge of SQL; performance tuning experience is a plus.
• Experience with web service APIs such as REST and WCF/SOAP.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, including source control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile product development methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proactive and effective in a hybrid working environment.
