Senior Site Supervisor – Civil & Architectural

Project Type: Residential High-Rise Condominium; Location: Penang Island.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate civil and architectural works for a residential high-rise condominium project on Penang Island.
• Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and construction schedules.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers to ensure quality workmanship and timely progress.
• Monitor daily site activities and report progress, delays, and issues to the Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards at all times.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks on structural, architectural, and finishing works.
• Resolve site technical issues and coordinate with consultants for clarification of drawings and details.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and as-built records.
• Attend site meetings with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Ensure proper site housekeeping and adherence to site rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant working experience, with proven experience in residential high-rise construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil, structural, and architectural works, including finishing trades.
• Able to read, interpret, and coordinate works based on construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades on-site.
• Familiar with construction standards, QA/QC procedures, and site safety requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and handle site challenges effectively.
• Willing to be based full-time on-site in Penang Island.

Added Advantage:

• Experience in high-rise condominium projects from substructure to finishing.
• Familiarity with local authorities’ requirements and site coordination in Penang.
• CIDB Green Card or relevant site certifications.
