Job summary

A leading construction company is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead daily operations at their project site in Northbank, Kuching, Sarawak. You will be responsible for overseeing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with architectural and structural specifications. The ideal candidate should have a diploma/degree in a related field and a minimum of 3–8 years of experience in construction site supervision, preferably within high-rise projects. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–8 years’ experience in construction site supervision, preferably in high-rise.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural, structural, and M&E works.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and method statements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily site operations, including subcontractors, workers, and suppliers.
  • Supervise architectural, civil & structural (C&S), and M&E works.
  • Plan and monitor work schedules, manpower allocation, and site resources.
  • Ensure high standards of workmanship, quality control, and site safety.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and site issues.
  • Coordinate closely with Project Manager, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress and prepare detailed site reports.
  • Oversee material deliveries and usage on site.
  • Enforce site safety rules and environmental compliance.
  • Mentor junior site supervisors and staff.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Construction Manager.
