This role is for a writer who goes deeper than surface-level SEO. Someone who can turn industry knowledge, interviews, and research into content that performs and reads like it was written by an insider.

This is a senior content role built for writers who want ownership and substance. You'll produce authoritative, research-driven content for a Canadian audience—working closely with SEO to balance editorial quality and search performance, while helping shape content direction across multiple transportation brands.

As a Senior SEO Content Copywriter, you will create high-quality, authoritative content tailored to the Canadian market. You'll collaborate closely with the SEO Specialist to deliver content that meets strong editorial standards while applying SEO best practices across blogs, landing pages, and industry-driven articles.

Job Overview

Employment type: Full-time

Shift: Morning shift or Night shift (Monday-Friday) with a minimum 4-hour overlap within 9:00 AM-5:00 PM EST (flexible beyond that)

The Qualifications We Seek

Required Qualifications

• Ideally 4 years in a similar senior content writing role
• At least 4 years of professional content writing experience
• Strong command of written English with excellent grammar, clarity, and structure
• Ability to produce original content without reliance on AI tools
• Understanding of the Canadian market and audience expectations
• Strong editorial judgment, including research depth, tone control, and interviewing skills
• Confidence interviewing senior professionals and translating insights into compelling articles
• Ability to work independently, manage weekly output, and take ownership of content direction
• Familiarity with SEO content requirements and WordPress publishing
• Availability to overlap with EST hours
• Confidence working independently

Nice to Have

• Experience writing for automotive, transportation, logistics, or related industries

Your Daily Tasks

Content Production

• Produce four (4) high-quality blog posts per week, both short- and long-form
• Create three (3) to four (4) SEO landing pages weekly focused on routes, services, and customer needs
• Write 25% interview-based articles using insights from industry leaders
• Write 75% industry news, analysis, and trend pieces sourced from trusted automotive and logistics publications

SEO & Publishing

• Publish content directly in WordPress with support from the SEO Specialist
• Apply SEO briefs and keyword strategies while maintaining strong editorial quality
• Adapt tone, structure, and messaging across six brands with distinct audiences
• Work closely with SEO and marketing partners to align content with performance goals
• Increase ownership over content planning, topics, and direction over time
