Job summary

A leading distribution company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to drive sales growth through identifying new market opportunities and building strong client relationships. The ideal candidate should have excellent verbal communication skills in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia, along with 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably within the toys, FMCG, or retail sectors. This role involves monitoring inventory, ensuring effective displays, and maintaining positive relationships with clients.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia, both verbal and written.
  • 1-2 years experience in the toys industry, FMCG, or retail preferred.

Job Responsibilities
  • Drive sales growth by identifying new market opportunities and building strong client relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills and the ability to speak Mandarin, English & Bahasa Malaysia both verbal and written.
  • Prefer 1-2 years of experience working in toys industry, FMCG industry or retail are added advantage.
  • Proven track record in Sales, Good listening skills and attention to details, develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • High level of resilience and the ability to handle rejection well with strong initiative and problem-solving skills, generate leads, prepare proposals, and achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills and the ability to flourish in a competitive industry, demonstrate initiative in pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint and other computer applications.
  • Ability to achieve desired results both individually and as a part of a team.
  • Good self-management skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Ensure shelves and displays are well-stocked with the right types and quantities of products.
  • Arrange diorama and display products to maximize visibility and sales.
  • Monitor store inventory levels to prevent overstocking and stockouts.
  • Implement merchandising strategies to boost sales and improve product turnover.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with store managers and staff.
  • Provide feedback on market trends and customer preferences.
