A prominent hospitality establishment in Johor Bahru is seeking a Sales Manager to develop and implement effective sales strategies across various segments. The ideal candidate will lead the Sales team, build relationships with key clients, and monitor sales performance. Requirement includes 5–7 years of experience in hospitality sales. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across corporate, group, and leisure segments.
Lead and motivate the Sales team to exceed sales goals and deliver excellent client service.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, travel agents, and business partners.
Identify new business opportunities and negotiate contracts to secure long-term partnerships.
Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and adjust strategies to optimize results.
Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses to support revenue growth.
Mentor and train junior sales staff, fostering professional growth and a high-performance culture.
Collaborate with Marketing, Revenue, and Operations teams to align strategies and ensure service excellence.
Represent the hotel at trade shows, client events, and industry functions to promote brand visibility.
Requirements:
Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with proven success in a senior or managerial role.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
Solid knowledge of hospitality sales, revenue management, and corporate or group markets.
Proficient in CRM systems, sales tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
Strategic, adaptable, and results-driven, with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
