A leading food distribution company in Malaysia seeks a Senior Sales Executive with a minimum of 3–5 years in B2B sales, ideally within the Frozen Food sector. The role focuses on acquiring new clients in the HORECA segment across Central Malaysia. Are you a seasoned salesperson with a deep network in the Central Malaysia F&B scene? Do you excel at finding and developing various accounts in the HORECA segment? We are representing a high‑growth food solutions leader that is rapidly expanding across Malaysia.
Our client provides high‑volume frozen food solutions that allow Western dining concepts, hotels, and large‑scale caterers to scale without the headache of fresh‑supply volatility. We are looking for a Senior Sales Executive who doesn't just "visit" customers but strategically builds a high‑value portfolio from the ground up.
Strategic Hunting: Identify and aggressively acquire new B2B accounts across Central Malaysia, focusing on casual Western dining chains, pubs, bars, and mid‑range hotel clusters.
Solution Selling: Consult with Head Chefs and F&B Managers to solve their biggest pain points: labor costs, prep time, and wastage. You will position the client’s frozen portfolio as the key to their kitchen’s consistency.
Account Mastery: Build the customer portfolio and expand the solutions. You will study menus, identify gaps in their supply chain, and pitch tailored frozen‑food solutions.
Logistics Coordination: Act as the bridge between the client and our internal logistics team. You understand that in F&B, a late delivery is a lost customer—you will oversee the sales cycle from pitch to urgent fulfillment.
Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of market pricing and competitor movements, providing expert monthly quotes that keep us competitive and profitable.
Proven Track Record: At least 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, specifically within Frozen Food Distribution, FMCG, or Food Ingredients (Dairy/Bakery). Experience in frozen seafood will be especially considered as this is the Client’s star product portfolio.
Network: An existing network of contacts within the HORECA sector in KL/Selangor is a strong advantage.
Operational Resilience: You understand the F&B world, the fast pace and level of service required. You’re ready to take a call in the evening or solve a logistics hiccup to ensure your client’s kitchen never stops running.
Communication: Sharp, articulate, and persuasive. Ability to communicate effectively with customers to conduct sales.
High Earning Potential: A competitive base salary commensurate with your experience, plus an uncapped commission structure designed for performers.
Full Mobility Support: Allowances, petrol card and other claims to be provided to support your account development across the central region.
State‑of‑the‑Art Facilities: Work out of a brand‑new office in Kajang featuring a professional culinary showroom for customer demos and tasting sessions.
Autonomy: The client focuses on hiring seniors to lead, not to be micromanaged. You will have the freedom to carve out your own market segments and drive sales with strong support.
