A global market leader in valve manufacturing is seeking a motivated Senior Sales Engineer for its operations in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have 1–5 years of sales experience and will be responsible for developing customer relationships, promoting products, and driving sales growth. We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Senior Sales Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of experience in sales or a related field. You will be responsible for promoting AVK’s range of products, developing strong customer relationships, and driving sales growth within your assigned region.

Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities within the assigned region or market segment, including industrial markets such as Data Centers, Semiconductors, and Power Plants.
Participate in the development and execution of a business strategy for AVK industrial valves.
Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers by providing professional, responsive, and solution‑driven service.
Provide product information, application guidance, and recommendations to meet customer requirements, including site visits when necessary.
Prepare and follow up on quotations, tenders, and proposals to secure new business and achieve sales targets.
Collect and share market trends, competitor information, and customer feedback to support business improvement and strategic planning.
Ability to prospect relevant projects and work with project consultants, contractors, and customers on product specifications.
Work closely with internal departments such as Marketing, Operations, Logistics, and Customer Service to ensure smooth order processing, delivery, and after‑sales support.
Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and updates for management review.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred) or equivalent.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer‑facing roles. Sales experience in valves and data centres will be an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive, self‑driven, and able to work independently.
Possess own transport and are willing to travel.
Willingness and flexibility to take on ad hoc tasks.
Flexible, stress‑tolerant, and goal‑oriented personality.
