The Senior Sales Personnel is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and managing key client accounts for drone-based inspection solutions. This role combines technical understanding of drone applications with strong commercial acumen, solution selling, and industry engagement. The Senior Sales Personnel will work closely with operations, engineering and management teams to deliver high-quality proposals and customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development
- Identify, pursue and secure new business across key sectors such as utilities, oil & gas, telecom, construction, maritime, infrastructure, solar, and manufacturing.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Conduct outbound prospecting, client engagements and industry networking.
- Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary contact for enterprise and strategic customers.
- Understand customer requirements, propose tailored drone inspection solutions and manage expectations.
- Conduct presentations, demos and site visits where required.
- Solution Design & Proposal Management
- Work with operations/technical teams to develop detailed solutions including:
- Scope of work
- Flight plans
- Deliverables (3D models, thermal, LiDAR, imagery, reports)
- Pricing and costing
- Prepare commercial proposals, quotations and tender submissions.
- Ensure proposals comply with regulatory and safety standards.
- Sales Cycle Ownership
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and closing.
- Maintain CRM timelines, documentation and accurate forecasting.
- Drive upsell opportunities such as thermal, LiDAR, recurring inspections, emergency inspections.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with operations to ensure feasibility, scheduling and resource availability.
- Participate in project kick‑offs and follow‑ups to ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery.
- Provide feedback to product, engineering and management on customer needs.
- Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing and market trends.
- Maintain knowledge of drone regulations, safety standards and relevant industry requirements.
- Provide insights to shape new service packages or improvements.
- Prepare and continuously maintain marketing material and postings.
- Leadership & Internal Enablement
- Contribute to development of company pricing models, market strategies and business plans.
- Support marketing with case studies, success stories and event participation.
Key Requirements
- Qualifications
- Diploma/degree in Business, Engineering, Aviation, Geospatial or related fields (preferred).
- Minimum 4–7 years in B2B sales, preferably in drones, inspection services, engineering, energy or industrial solutions.
- Technical Competency
- Knowledge of drone operations, thermal imaging, LiDAR, ortho‑mosaic mapping or NDT is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and inspection requirements.
- Familiarity with local drone regulations (e.g., CAAM regulations).
