A leading technology firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Sales/Assistant Sales Manager to lead the sales process in the SEA region. This role involves identifying business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and collaborating with marketing efforts. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience in B2B sales within logistics or automation, coupled with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently. Manage the entire sales process for the SEA region, including identifying target industries, developing comprehensive sales strategies, and executing robust sales plans, leading to successful deal closures and meeting assigned sales targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities by proactively prospecting and networking while working closely with local teams to build and optimize sales pipelines and exceed sales targets.
Manage, strengthen, and expand a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, both new and existing, by delivering exceptional customer service and fostering long‑term relationships to drive organic growth, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Lead client meetings to understand their needs and prepare compelling business proposals and quotations that effectively address client requirements.
Collaborate with the marketing team to strategize and participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to engage potential customers, generate leads, and enhance the company’s brand presence.
Regularly update the CRM system with accurate and timely information on sales activities, customer interactions, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decision‑making.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics management, or any engineering‑related fields.
5+ years of solid experience in B2B sales or business development within the logistics, 3PL, warehouse operations, automation, or similar industries.
Demonstrated success track record in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, achieving sales targets, and managing corporate clients.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to analyse sales data and market trends to drive informed decision‑making.
Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is required.
5‑day work week.
