We are hiring Senior Sales & Application Engineers across three solution areas. The roles are similar in scope, with the key difference being industry and solution focus.
Role Overview (Common Responsibilities):
- Develop and deliver technical solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and tenders.
- Present solutions and conduct technical & commercial discussions.
- Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.
- Negotiate and close sales orders.
- Work closely with principals and internal teams (engineering, project, sales).
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline and forecasts.
- Prepare sales activity reports and market feedback.
- Support marketing activities such as exhibitions, conferences, and industry events.
Automation (Process Control / Industry 4.0):
- Solutions covering PLC, SCADA, instrumentation, MES, and Industry 4.0.
- Manage project-based and solution sales locally and overseas.
- Develop sales plans aligned with revenue growth targets.
IIoT:
- Engage leads and close orders for SmartMES solutions.
- Maintain and grow existing customer accounts.
- Deliver sales presentations and solution demos.
- Monitor competitors, pricing, and market trends.
- Experience with MES technologies, CitectSCADA / Cimplicity, Historian, Siemens / Schneider / GE PLC, SQL.
Software:
- Drive business development for software and digital solutions.
- Build long-term relationships with enterprise and OT-level customers.
- Present value-based, solution-oriented proposals.
- Experience in IIoT, APS, Digitalization, Industry 4.0, Mendix Low-Code Platform or Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) (advantage).
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum 2–5 years relevant experience in solution or project sales.
- Experience in proposal/tender preparation.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Willing to travel, able to work under pressure and meet project tender deadline.
