Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Relationship Manager to join our team at RHB Bank. In this role, you’ll manage and grow a corporate loan portfolio, deepen client relationships, and support the Group’s growth objectives. You’ll stay close to market developments, monitor credit quality, and work with internal partners to deliver the right solutions to clients.

What you will be doing
  • Manage & service existing relationships for the assigned corporate loan portfolio.
  • Increase depth of relationship and manage customer's needs to achieve an acceptable level of RAROC in line with agreed business plan.
  • Develop and acquire new relationships to row Group Corporate Banking's balance sheet and P&L.
  • Timely periodic review of the assigned portfolio to preserve loan quality.
  • Undertake timely assessment on any relevant adverse market news and/or unsatisfactory account conduct, which may affect the credit profile of the borrowers and implement appropriate strategy to alleviate loan losses.
  • Managing the inter‑divisional relationship to assist in delivering good customer service and maintain customer loyalty.
  • Deliver excellent service standard and trouble shoots problems & complaints from clients to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
  • "First-to-know" with regards to corporate market development by maintaining regular customer visitation/contacts.
  • Participate in account planning with Client Coverage Team and collaborate with other product partners where appropriate to maximize profitability of client group.
What we’re looking for
  • At least 7 years of experience in corporate or commercial banking within an established financial institution.
  • Preferably a Certified Credit Professional or someone who has passed Omega’s Credit Skills Assessment (CSA).
  • Strong marketing, prospecting, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Driven, organized, and confident in managing client relationships.
