Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead in product development, review formulation, materials and processes, product improvement / cost optimization, conducting shelf life studies whenever necessary.
• Ensure proper maintenance of all relevant R&D documentation i.e. formulations, manufacturing procedures and specifications.
• Stay abreast with regulatory, industry and market food trends.
• Participate in appointed GMP, HACCP, ISO, Halal, OSH or other committees/ audits assigned.
• Conduct sensory evaluation.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Food Science/ Food Technology or related fields
• At least 2 years of working experience in food manufacturing industry, preferably in sauce manufacturing.
• Good understanding of Malaysian Food Regulations and Halal requirements
• Good command of English both oral and written.
• Passionate about food and highly creative.
