Assistant Manager / Manager - Contract (Quantity Surveyor)

VRSB is an established player in the construction of Earthworks, Infrastructure, General Building such as road, drainage, water reticulation & sewerage. We specialise in design & build stormwater drainage system and floor mitigation system for Jabatan Pengairan Dan Saliran (JPS). Main Responsibilities

• Allocate work to contractors and subcontractors to facilitate a smooth workflow process.
• Assess degree of hazards and risks to ensure workplace safety is maintained.
• Communicate with management, contractors, and subcontractors on adjustments to cost estimates to facilitate smooth transition of information.
• Conduct negotiations during the project to resolve issues.
• Control project scope to meet objectives and enhance deliverables and key work activities.
• Manage a team of Junior Quantity Surveyors.
• Monitor project costs to ensure objectives are achieved in accordance with building contract law.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with standards.
• Prepare cost analysis and formulate cost reduction strategies to enhance overall value.
• Prepare tender and contract documents in accordance with building and construction regulations.
• Provide advice on contractual claims to manage project scope.

Candidates fluent in Mandarin are preferred as the role requires dealing with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
