Job summary

A leading Plastics Manufacturer in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to ensure compliance with quality standards and drive continuous improvements. Candidates should have at least a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of QA/QC experience in the plastic manufacturing industry. Responsibilities include managing audits, customer feedback, and supporting new product introductions. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate across departments to enhance overall performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of QA/QC experience in plastic manufacturing.
  • Experienced in ISO documentation and auditing.
  • Strong knowledge in technical drawings; GD&T knowledge is a plus.

We are currently looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join a leading Plastics Manufacturer in Malaysia! This position requires your urgent attention.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with departments to achieve company and departmental KPIs; prepare and present monthly KPI performance reports.
  • Ensure process and product compliance with procedures, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Conduct regular process audits, review failure reports, and drive timely closure of non‑conformances.
  • Analyze inspection results to identify quality trends and implement process improvements.
  • Manage customer feedback and complaints, leading cross‑functional teams on investigations and CAPA follow‑up.
  • Oversee containment actions and prepare 8D reports to communicate corrective measures to customers.
  • Support new product introductions from development to mass production, ensuring compliance with customer standards.
  • Develop internal procedures, validation reports, and risk assessments to strengthen process reliability and quality performance.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Degree in Science, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years’ QA/QC experience in plastic manufacturing.
  • Experienced in ISO documentation and auditing.
  • Strong in technical drawings; GD&T knowledge is an advantage.
