Responsibilities

• Design and run automated and manual tests for microservices
• Test gRPC and REST APIs via the API Gateway
• Validate data flows across AWS Aurora, ElastiCache, and Kafka (MSK)
• Integrate tests with monitoring and observability tools such as BetterStack, CloudWatch, and AWS X-Ray
• Test cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Docker, and ECS/EKS
• Conduct performance and scalability testing
• Track defects and perform root cause analysis
• Enhance test automation within the CI/CD pipeline
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to define test cases, edge cases, and acceptance criteria
• Establish QA best practices, test data strategies, and automated regression testing

Requirements

• Strong QA experience testing microservices
• Hands‑on experience testing AWS‑based, containerized systems
• Comfortable testing gRPC and REST APIs, as well as Kafka‑based data streams
• Good working knowledge of SQL and Redis testing
• Experience automating tests within CI/CD pipelines
• Familiar with testing infrastructure and containers (e.g. Terraform, Docker, orchestration tools)
• Understanding of monitoring, observability, and distributed tracing from a QA perspective
• Strong communication skills and able to work well with cross‑functional teams
