Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant purchasing/procurement experience
  • Diploma or Degree in a related field

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end purchasing activities including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and delivery follow-ups
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify new reliable vendors
  • Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and pricing to ensure competitiveness
  • Lead price negotiations and contract discussions with suppliers
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement in procurement processes
  • Review and analyze purchasing data to optimize procurement strategies
  • Coordinate with warehouse, operations, and sales teams to plan purchases based on demand forecasts and stock levels
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages, overstock, or obsolete items
  • Ensure suppliers comply with company policies, quality standards, and delivery requirements
  • Manage supplier documentation including quotations, contracts, and agreements
  • Resolve supplier-related issues such as delivery delays, quality concerns, and disputes
  • Work closely with internal departments (Operations, Finance, Sales) to support business needs
  • Prepare purchasing reports, cost analysis, and supplier performance evaluations
  • Guide and support junior purchasing staff when required
  • Review and enhance purchasing procedures, policies, and internal controls
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and SOPs
