Key Responsibilities

The Senior Executive, Public Relations plays a key role in executing the company’s public relations and corporate communications initiatives.

In-house role handling high-visibility corporate and brand communications.

Strong exposure to media relations, issues management, and corporate writing.

Structured environment with clear processes and stakeholder collaboration

Media Relations & External Communications

Manage daily media relations activities, including handling media inquiries, pitching stories, and maintaining relationships with journalists and media partners.

Develop and execute PR plans and communication activities aligned with corporate objectives.

Identify and shape compelling story angles for corporate announcements, campaigns, and initiatives.

Draft, edit, and proofread press releases, media statements, talking points, Q&A documents, media invitations, and corporate collaterals.

Issues & Crisis Communications

Support and execute issues and crisis communications plans, including message development, monitoring, and coordination with internal stakeholders.

Conduct research and analysis to assess reputational risks and provide communications recommendations.

Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, flagging potential issues and opportunities.

Corporate Communications & Campaign Support

Execute internal communications initiatives to ensure clear and consistent messaging across the organisation.

Manage awards submissions, corporate announcements, and thought leadership content.

Support CSR, sustainability, sponsorship, and partnership-related communications initiatives.

Conduct research on industry trends, media landscape, and competitor activities.

Track, analyse, and report on PR campaign performance and media coverage.

Prepare post-campaign reports with insights and recommendations.

Manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities effectively while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree, or higher qualification in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Mass Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum 3–6 years of relevant experience in public relations or corporate communications.

Strong command of English (spoken and written) with proven corporate writing experience.

Good knowledge of current media landscape, including print, broadcast, and digital media.

PR agency and/or in-house corporate communications experience is welcomed.

Ability to manage tight timelines and deliver under pressure.

Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
