Job summary

A leading construction firm in Malaysia is looking for a Senior Project & Tender Quantity Surveyor (M&E). Reporting to the manager, you will prepare quotations, evaluate supplier bids, and manage bill of quantities for projects. Essential qualifications include a diploma in Quantity Surveying and at least 5 years of experience in M&E construction tendering. Candidates must be detail-oriented and able to work independently. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to substantial projects while ensuring quality and accuracy in estimating costs.

Qualifications

• 5 years of M&E Construction Project Tendering/Costing experience required.
• Understanding of tenders with respect to scope of work is essential.
• Knowledge of Design & Build Tender is preferred.

• Compile and evaluate quotations from suppliers/vendors.
• Prepare bill of quantities including quantity take-off and estimating costs.

Senior Project & Tender Quantity Surveyor (M&E)

Job Descriptions: Reporting to the Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Prepare plans and documents for quotations to suppliers that will be used as basis for pricing.
• Obtain, compile and evaluate quotations from the respective suppliers/vendors according to tender requirements.
• Prepare bill of quantities including quantity take-off, material sourcing, measuring and estimating materials and labour costing.
• Carry out the detailed breakdown pricing.
• Understand tenders with respect to scope of work, pricing schedule and non-material requirements.
• Understand and knowledge in Design & Build Tender is preferred.
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by manager.

Job Requirements

• Diploma Holder in Quantity Surveying/Building services.
• 5 years of M&E Construction Project Tendering/Costing experience.
• Detailed and meticulous.
• Able to work independently.
• Knowledge in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
