A leading engineering firm in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Project Engineer to manage and lead project teams. The role involves planning and implementing overseas projects, monitoring key project indicators, and ensuring compliance with specifications. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and have at least 5 years of experience, preferably in the cooling tower or HVAC industry. Manage and lead project teams, and coordinate closely with supporting factories to ensure smooth project execution.
Assist in the planning and implementation of overseas projects, including logistics coordination, timeline control, and stakeholder communication.
Monitor and control key project indicators such as cost, quality, and delivery schedule, and provide regular progress reports to management.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed in accordance with technical specifications, contractual requirements, and safety standards.
Identify project risks and propose effective mitigation plans to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
Carry out any other duties as assigned by management.
Possesses Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil) or any related field of studies.
Minimum of 5 years of related working experience as a Project Engineer, preferably in the cooling towers, HVAC, or industrial equipment industry. Experience managing overseas or international projects will be an added advantage.
Strong project management, coordination, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable with frequent regional travel to Indonesia (2–3 weeks per month), while maintaining operational continuity in Malaysia.
Includes medical, dental, optical, hospitalization coverage, and statutory contributions, with all expenses covered for any regional travel purposes.
