Job summary

A consulting engineering firm located in Malaysia is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in project execution, specifically in Mechanical or Electrical systems management. Responsibilities

• Work with project team and involve in procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Manage project execution at site for Mechanical or Electrical distribution systems.
• Ensure works are executed according to approved specifications.
• Liaise with clients and authorities to resolve issues.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors for site activities.
• Perform interim progress claims and monitor payments.
• Update As-Built drawing and prepare handover documents.
• Prepare Request for Information on changes of specification.
• Prepare technical presentations to clients.

Job description

Work with project team and involved in procurement, construction, commissioning etc.

Manage project execution at site for Mechanical or Electrical distribution system, ACMV, Fire Fighting, Plumping system etc.

Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved specifications, procedures and requirements.

Liaise with client, consultant, sub-contractor, andrelevant authorities to resolve technical issues.

Coordinate with sub-contractors for site survey, space management, site activities.

Perform interim progress claims, monitor progress payments and determine variation orders.

Update As-Built drawing and prepare handover documents.

Prepare Request for Information (RFI) on changes of specification.

Prepare technical presentation to clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Mininum 5 years of working experience in related field will be on advantage.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
