A leading technology firm in Malaysia is looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage key customer projects and ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate must have over 6 years of project management experience in an EMS setting and be familiar with various project management processes. Strong knowledge of electronic components and proficiency in MS OFFICE and CAD software are essential. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with customer requirements and successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Over 6 years of project management experience in EMS company.
• Familiar with EMS (ODM, OEM, JDM) operation mode.
• Knowledge of project management professional processes (PMP).

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities

Manage the key customers or projects to ensure smooth project introduction and operation.

Provide some technical training and guidance for project engineers.

Can be able to use the process of the project management processes to import the new projects.

Collect, check and interpret customer documents, understand customer requirements, and ensure relevant functional departments understand product requirements in manufacturing, quality, testing, packaging, and shipping.

Creation and maintenance of BOM and the materials.

Confirm electronic parts, structural parts, packaging materials to ensure compliance with customer requirements.

Follow up the progress of new project preparations.

Summary the trial run issues and follow-up to ensure smooth mass production.

Job Requirements

• More than 6 years project management experience in EMS company
• Familiar with EMS (ODM, OEM, JDM) operation mode
• Familiar with project management professional process (PMP)
• Familiar with SMT, DIP, test, ASSY, reliability test
• Rich knowledge of electronic components, plastic hardware and packaging materials; Proficient in MS OFFICE, CAD (UG, ProE), CAM350 software, with SAP/MRP, TS16969, ISO13485 system etc.
