About the role

Mewah Group is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Procurement Executive/Engineer to join our team in Port Klang, Selangor, Malaysia. As a key member of the Procurement department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services to support our manufacturing operations.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for a diverse range of materials, equipment, and services
• Negotiate and finalise contracts with suppliers to obtain the best possible terms and conditions
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers
• Analyse market trends, pricing, and supply chain dynamics to make informed purchasing decisions
• Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems to optimise stock levels
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and procurement needs
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement function

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a procurement or supply chain role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
