About the role
This is a full-time, office-based Senior Operations & Vendor Management role within the Administration & Office Support team at Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad, located in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in overseeing the bank's operations and managing key vendor relationships to support the overall business objectives.
This vacancy is within Kenanga Digital Sdn Bhd, a fully owned subsidiary of Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad.
What you'll be doing
Develop and implement operational strategies and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Manage and oversee the performance of key vendors and service providers to ensure service level agreements are met.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
Analyse operational data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of operational policies, procedures and controls.
Provide training and support to team members to build capabilities and drive continuous improvement.
Represent the operations function in cross‑functional projects and initiatives.
What we're looking for
Minimum 7 years’ experience in a similar operations management or vendor management role, preferably in the financial services industry or fintech start‑up business.
Strong understanding of operational processes and workflows, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements & knowledgeable in vendor management activity.
Demonstrated experience in specialized project and operation management or in analysing operational activity improvement process and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to create and present reports.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Proactive, adaptable and results‑oriented approach to problem‑solving.
