Job Description

As a Senior Network Engineer within our Operations team, you’ll be responsible for delivering, operating and maintaining the network and its associated infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, controllers) and associated supporting tools across the business and service delivery environments and will contribute to the development of the organisation\'s network methodologies, processes and service delivery and compliance obligations.

Within this position, your scope will cover:

• Performing network lifecycle and administration tasks including configuration, operations, approving requests, account reviews, audit remediation tracking and maintenance of records
• Responding, troubleshooting and resolution of level network related incidents and requests
• Analysis of network alerts and responses and actively track and identify trends across our ICT landscape
• Responding to Network Incidents using defined incident response plans and playbooks
• Utilising Network Monitoring and management tools to maintain the network lifecycle
• Contribute to the development of and promote compliance to policies and standards relating to the Network

Qualifications

• 10+ year\'s experience in a Networking role with planning, deployment or operational exposures
• Experienced working in Data Centre environment is a plus
• Relevant Industry advanced certifications - Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, HPE, Arista
• Demonstrated Network Experience of IPv4 & IPv6, routing and switching protocols, firewalls, VPN, network security, SD-WAN, Zero Trust, WLAN, Wired LAN and EVPN-VXLAN architecture
• Experience in networking monitoring, reporting and automation tools
• ITIL Service Management certification
• TOGAF EA Certification is a plus
