A global financial services firm is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to manage and troubleshoot its corporate and datacentre networks. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge in network design and management, with relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNP. Applicants should have a proven track record in working with large, complex networks and have excellent problem-solving skills. The role is to provide FNZ with an in-house expert, skilled in all facets of design, monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting of our corporate and datacentre networks. Candidates require knowledge of network design, superior skills in network switching, firewalling and routing. Experience of load-balancing large web platforms is essential along with excellent network diagnosis, experience of routing and liaising with ISPs and vendors. Experience of cloud computing and related networking is a bonus.
The role reports to the Network Lead - APAC and will be part of the wider Platform Services team. The network engineer role will also work closely with Information Security to ensure network security is maintained.
