Job Purpose

The primary purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth operation in two main domains: 1) Be responsible for monitoring and analyzing our entire supply chain system, IT infrastructure, and facilities, responding to alerts, providing timely support to global teams, making necessary independent decisions for urgent issues or as requested by IT teams. 2) Offering Global Contact Calling Services to TD SYNNEX global coworkers for resolving urgent issues. Where necessary the VMT specialist will elevate urgent alerts/requests to higher levels within team. This level requires experienced knowledge of monitoring items and the TD SYNNEX environment. The specialist will be able to prioritize alerts and make right decisions based on the real‑time urgent situation. This level will be expected to mentor entry‑level monitoring specialists.

Job Description
  1. Accept working in shifts: morning shift, swing shift, and night shift
  2. Global IT monitoring service: process IT alerts by following pre‑defined SLAs
  3. Global call service: provide efficient calling services to global coworkers, accelerating problem‑solving efficiency
  4. Guide monitoring specialists during daily operations
  5. Analyze monitoring data, and provide professional solutions/support based on the data analysis
  6. Collaboration with the peer VMT team in China
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3‑5 years of relevant experience is preferred
  • Proficient in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English
  • Require high vigilance and constant monitoring of the screen, so it demands extremely high discipline
  • IT background is preferred
  • Good at using Microsoft 365 software
  • Strong sense of responsibility and collaborative team spirit
  • Excellent ability in problem analysis and solving
  • Stronger observation skills to identify and assess potential risks in monitoring data
  • Able to formulate response measures and plans based on the analysis results of monitoring data
  • Strong communication skills: able to effectively communicate with global coworkers
Workhour (Malaysia local time)

Morning shift: 7am to 3pm

Swing shift: 2pm to 10pm

Night shift: 10pm to 7am
