Job summary

A leading semiconductor manufacturing company in Penang is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to develop automated equipment and optimize mechanical processes. The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering fields, around 5 years of experience, and strong command of Mandarin and English. Knowledge in tools like AutoCAD and SolidWorks is preferred. Qualifications

• Around 5 years of experience in mechanical/process engineering/industrial/manufacturing process.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Experience drafting mechanical design drawings.

Responsibilities

• Development of semiconductor-specific automated equipment / mechanical design and structural evaluation.
• Oversee the implementation and optimization of mechanical processes.
• Work cross-functionally with maintenance, quality assurance, R&D, and operations.
• Testing and selection of mechanical materials.
• Testing and installation of equipment.

Skills

Mandarin Speaking

Good command of English

Experience with CNC machines

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes

Education

Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields
